Poking about, sin spikes on HELMETS - SKULL CAP - DETAIL 1 seem to be close but not perfect. Maybe a full mask on a skin color set to that bluish? that seems to have some promise.

This was one of the things that made this so cool. Not carefully crafted set-pieces or the occasional wall that could be broken. It made the world more alive and vibrant by simply being, and not being the whole point.

The first character I created was the first character I created in the main game. My head cannon is that he emerged from the swirling chaotic darkness that had overwhelmed the city a bit changed though. I created a stone/stone brute instead of the original stone/stone tanker.

You may well have had item unlocks on your live character for content you have not yet completed. As I understand it all vip/booster pack/none gameplay unlocks are available from the get go. But costume bits and bobs that unlock from gameplay still have to be unlocked that way.

HUH, thought I had lost my mind and was just dumb from remembering level ranges in some zones. Is there a resource for the live server version showing changes? I'll look about myself.

I had an energy/fire scrapper that was built specifically for large burst and survival that I used to run PL farms out of portal corp. Good times, a pack of 7 lowbies, sometimes with a few levelled folks as instead, just mowing down mobs and watching the leveling explosions like a wave of fireworks.

Check around for auctions in your area, you can find racks with blades or cheapish. Even if you only want one blade go to the auction and talk to who buys it. Might be able to get just one cheap. Also hit craigslistt and see what folks are moving, I know several people all over the us that bought out the old servers from their jobs and then refurbed and sold then on craigslist (though of course be wary of scams, no product in your hand no money in theirs)

Playing WOW on Cataclysm on launch day in Vashj'ir. Every person in the world trying to level through there at the same time (prior to spawn rate adjustments made later in the day) and I'm frustrated. So I "accidentally" post my side of a conversation with my guild about how due to a launch day bug people are getting the rare drop sea turtles mounts like crazy from pools in Sholozar basin. The zone emptied out pretty quick, I finished my questing and moved on, got some tells from people that did not fall for it saying variations of "dude..that's f'ed up" and "oh man, I wish I had thought of that". And...quite alot of hate tells in the hours after from people that went and fished all day. Had a couple thank me for helping me get their turtle as well.

Clan Stonebreaker lives again. Working on the base right now...not needing to pay for it is nifty as it allows so much experimentation.

This is awesome. Thank you to whoever has/is providing server capacity. Wow, 4 all maxed with a think 2000 max connected clients at a time. So that's 8000 players and by my math ~2800 in queue. It's...immensely gratifying to see the community blow up this way. Some whining has occurred (but when does it not ;) Thank you all again. Welcome home indeed.

Driver updates may fix/help your issue. Post the make/model and perhaps someone here can help with more information. As for AP...the engine is still what it was. The huge number of folks there are gonna cause lag simply because the engine has issues handling it. It's like a bulldozer pulling equipment with a car towing dolly. Regardlessof how hard the dozer (vid card) can pull the tow dolly can only carry so much before it bogs down.

Look into your bios, you may be able to allocate more memory to the graphics. make sure you have the most updated intel drivers, lots of laptops do not. an ssd makes games much faster and if you use one as your caching drive can also help clear bottlenecks on your gpu.

As much as I love COH: "WORTH IT" Endgame kicks ass in every way.

This is not sarcasm or passive aggressive salt. I'm currently 1934 of 1948 in Queue on Torchbearer and that is awesome to a level it's hard to overstate. Yes I'm annoyed I have to wait, but I'm more gratified to see this response. Thank you to all the Devs/Mods/Providers of hardware that are making this happen.

This topic makes me sad ;( I had 4 blades and a rack that burned with the house a few years ago. Took my COH vids, screenshots, and chat logs as well ;( Still, I hope some more folks that are in a better place than I can do this.

Playing multiple accounts at this time would be a bit on the selfish side I agree. Using a second account to do things like transfer influence/enh/salvage between alts would seem less so as the second account would only be logged in briefly.

Hel...heck yeah. Welcome home. Not a part of those SG's but good to find more kindred.

For those of us, and I'm hoping it more and more of the community, that will set up a local server on our machines for when/if servers vanish I thought it would be good. Probably something we can do locally by just backing up the character database though..

I would like to see this feature implemented somehow to allow us to offline save our characters for personal backup. Perhaps something like blockchain could be used to validate saves (not sure, just a stray notion). I have seen...far to many private servers simply vanish without warning. Even if many/most servers would not allow you to use them people could use them in local setups if they so chose. I am immensely grateful to all those working on the game at this time. Even if this is not possible/feasible/desirable ;)
