I really do want to like this game but as of right now I just don't, I was hoping someone could maybe help me figure out why.
For context I've made two characters so far, neither of which have excited me so far. I also should say I'm very much a fan of older game philosophy, I don't mind having to grind, I don't mind prolonged gratification, all of this is fine with me but nothing is clicking yet.
So with all the praise this game gets I'm hoping more experienced players can tell me if its just simply not for me, which is fine, or if early level content is pretty much what I can expect throughout the entire game.
I hope given the topic no one takes offense, if the game is not for me it's just not for me.A lot also depends on the server you rolled on. Some servers are just not as active for group content as other despite being at 2 dots(yellow) for traffic. If you are trying to do group content but cant find anyone, try moving the character to another server!

Heya! New to this set which adaptations are typically being run with these builds?

This build looks like a lot of fun!
When you are posting about completing things as a duo or trio, what are the other ATs and builds your teammates are running with out of curiosity?
-
@Number Six So i'm going to be 100% honest with you.. NOPE!!! I did read in the Detailed Info that it was a toggle but also saw it on the power bar in the top right thinking it was just a passive.
I clicked it and am now saddened to find that it only works for a modest 10 seconds or so with a 2 min CD. No where in the description does it state there is a duration and upon reading the CD I was thinking that there is a 2 min cool down if it is popped by over CC.
@Lazarillo No worries 😀

Be that as it may. I get held by a single Mag 3 Hold even though the power enhancement is giving a flat Mag 10 protection rating.
Still leads me to believe its not working in the slightest.

Tossing this here for consideration, this MIGHT go to test in a future time, but wanted to hear some feedback before even going there:
Super Strength > Rage:
- Activating Rage while the buff is still up will no longer add a second stack, instead it will increase the duration of the current buff by an additional 120 seconds.
- Example: Use rage when there are 30 seconds left, rage it will now last for 150 seconds.
- No longer has a crash of any kind. No endurance crash, no defense crash, no -dmg crash, nothing. Letting rage expire and continue to attack without using it again would be it's own penalty.
I think this would be a swift kick below the belt for most people that play SS.. If built right, the CD on Rage would be under 60 sec so that you could have 3 copies up which is a constant overlapping double stack. Building around the 160% damage buff for 110 seconds by the 10 second penalty is perfectly acceptable given the extra 110 seconds of 150% badassness you get over every other powerset. Its just a trade off you have to calculate for similarly to the way you would for Unstoppable or MoG Crashes. The -20% can be offset with 2 purps.. the -1000% dmg you wait for, the end crash is erased with Ageless or Blues. It seems like a fair counter to what makes it great honestly.

That last one looks really fun @Zolgar. Definitely a more unique set combo as well so I give it a try for sure!
I'm curious if anyone has a killer Fire/Kin controller build in their back pockets.. something that has great survivability and melting power regardless of build price!
Also curious about Fire/Time and Ice/fire Blasters!
Throw your submissions here if you're welling to share!
Thanks again everyone,

Greatly appreciate the build ideas!!
I do have PINE and tinker with is myself however I also really enjoy seeing other peoples creativity and the cool combinations that can still be fun and effective!
I already see combos I have never used that look like great fun so thank you @Zolgar / @Shinobu
Anyone/everyone is welcome to continue adding and I'll build them as fast as I can! 8)

Hello everyone, I've been spending quite some time building up a bank in CoH! I'm reaching out to you all to share some really fun and efficient PvE builds regardless of AT! The more expensive the better so long as it is even more effective!
Really looking for fun damage classes that have great solo and team potential for all +4 content/AV/TF/Trial content.
Any ideas / builds are greatly appreciated!
Snicker!

Hey everyone!
I took a crack at making a Beam/TrickArrow/Mace build and would love some input/critiquing if anyone is willing.
Open to all suggestions and improvements!
