  1. EATs have a few build options, with access to more powers per set than regular archetypes. That being said, there are only 6 power set options across all 4 EATs, which means that across all 4 EATs there are less build options than for Masterminds, the class with the least options available to it.
  2. To be fair it only adds like a couple seconds to their duration, just until the body decomposes is teleported out for medical treatment and legal sentencing.
  3. All my years playing a Rad, I came to a simple conclusion: Outside of AV fights, literally no one cares about your toggles. They don't need them, they kill plenty fast enough without them. I gave up even bothering to try on anything short of EBs.
  4. I usually start around 22, 25 IOs are a hair weaker than a white SO, but not bad, and the money you save by not buying up a bunch of SOs only to have them stop functioning is worth it, to me. I also like to unslot them and hang on to them for my next character that needs them.
  5. Potentially unpopular opinion: If they start accepting donations for keeping the server running, you should get exactly nothing for it. No special loot, no level bumps, no XP boosters, no costume pieces, no badges. Nothing. There should be absolutely nothing separating the people who donate their money to help keep the server going from those who cannot afford to donate.
  6. I mean, it's DEFINITELY doable, in some fashion or another. I don't know the specifics of how they could go about doing it, but I am sure our team could come up with something to do it. Bare minimum, the game is equipped for code redemption, so they could figure out how to use that and have a new code every day in the GMOTD. The real questions are: How hard would it be to do? And Is it worth doing? (Which is a factor of: Player interest, dev interest, and difficulty to do) For my part, I would say it's not worth it. As others have said, dailies are used to keep people "engaged" with the game. ("I need to log in to get my thing today." "Well I'm logged in, I may as well play for a little bit.") In a free, community driven server like this... we don't need to encourage people to come back, because this isn't a for-profit system, if people lose interest in the game, there is no significant incentive to keep them coming back every day "in case they decide to play again"
  7. Lets see. My first true MMO was, I believe, Ultima Online. I also played Diablo online a lot, a couple of MUCKs, A sort of game/chat program called Furcadia.. I don't really recall the order of all those. Other than Diablo came before UO. A brief stint in Everquest, also a stint in a game called 'The 4th coming' (basically a UO clone) but mostly UO for a long while. Then there was Horizons. I think it was during Horizons that I tried Shadowbane and RF Online, neither of which did I stick with. I migrated from Horizons to City of Heroes. I tried WoW, found it... unengaging. Bit of a stint in DDO, which I played when I didn't feel like playing City. Guild Wars, which I also played here and there when I didn't feel like playing City. Tried Secret World a couple times, never got super in to it, despite liking the concept. I forget what it was called but somewhere in the range of City shut down, maybe a little before, I played an anime MMO that the combat was kinda sidescroller beat-em-up, was interesting. Guild Wars 2. Path of Exile. Archeage. Black Desert Online. Neverwinter was the last I actively played before not having internet at home anymore.
  8. I can speak to plants, and they say they want water.
  9. While I see your point, the imbalance of levels is always a part of MMOs. Different amount of play time, different play styles, etc. The few who have 50+3s can run the content they want, or powerlevel those who didn't save/lost their data and want to be 50 again.
  10. These are two different discussions: The OP is talking about I think it was called Titan Sentinel, which was a system that would create a local copy of character data in xml format, I think essentially it just read the game and copied everything. The plan was that if someone made a private server they would make it so people could import that and get their old characters restored with everything they had. I don't believe this would be problematic for NCSoft, because it's not really any different than us just writing everything down and being able to email the server host saying "I had a level 50 stone/ss tank, I had these enhancers slotted, these incarnate powers. etc." You're talking about the data that was reportedly given to the other server that allowed them to just import entire account worth of characters like nothing ever happened. This was data that was originally stolen from NCSoft's servers, and while nothing has been confirmed that I have seen, the rumor mill is that this paired with some EU data privacy law would cause immense problems for both the future of the community server and NCSoft.
  11. Virtue was full of dirty catgirls "RPing" in Pocket D. I should know, I was one. >.>
