Captainspire Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 First, fantastic to be back. Second, I'm seeing my blaster build missing targets about 40-50% of the time. Maybe this is normal, I'm not sure. I'm only level 14 so I'm not expecting amazing accuracy but something a bit better than missing half the time.
Shred Monkey Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Welcome back. And no... nothing has changed. Accuracy enhancers are the solution and I wouldn't bump the difficulty bar up in level until you've got some decent slotting done. Active on Excelsior: Prismatic Monkey - Seismic / Martial Blaster, Shadow Dragon Monkey - Staff / Dark Brute, Murder Robot Monkey - Arachnos Night Widow
Captainspire Posted October 22, 2019 Author Posted October 22, 2019 I just went to the store and got one of those 17% (?) accuracy items and seemed to make a world of difference. Go figure. 🙂

If you bring up your powers window, you should see a link in the upper left that says "Combat Attributes". Click that, then go through the various pieces of data available and right click, then choose to track some of the key stats, like accuracy, tohit, last attack hit chance, and so on. You can also create a custom chat tab to show combat data, (including your actual attack roll), to see what your chance to hit the target was vs what you rolled. It can seem like information overload, but it can really help to see what your performance is at... 2
Captainspire Posted October 22, 2019 Author Posted October 22, 2019 Ill review this when I get home. Thank you!
Tigress Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 Also depends on what enemies you are fighting. For instance Circle of Thorns have a habit of debuffing your accuracy to almost nonexistant and can be extremely frustrating to fight. Spectral Demon Lords are the worst in that regard, and Behemoths have a good chunk of defense to boot. From lvl 12 onward it makes sense to slot some DO enhancers, especially for accuracy. Also the Accuracy buff from DfB (and to a lesser part DiB) helps a good deal to bridge to lvl 22 when you can slot those sweet lvl 25 IO's. Not quite cheap, but they keep their effectiveness till you hit lvl 50! 1
