Pbuckley818
So I have been noticing with most grab builds that people rarely take melee abilities. Am I so much better served only taking the ranged attacks and MAYBE Frenzy, that I shouldn't bother with melee? I mean I kind of decided to try veats out mainly because I wanted a melee to mid-range support toon, I have been enjoying Bane (With a modified version of the Ultimate Support build). But I have been wanting to try out Crabber to see if it's more my speed, more scrapper/brute than the stalker that bane is, but from what I can tell it's almost more like a Tanky Blaster/Mastermind. siolfir
That's because it's more like a Tanky Blaster/Mastermind. People skip the melee attacks on Crabs because they just aren't very good - you get better melee attacks using the gun from the Wolf Spider (shared/Huntsman) branch. Typically people who want to be in melee will just go with Banes. Edited January 8, 2020 by siolfir
Snarky
I agree with this and i am taking the rwo AoE melee on my crab for theme reasons. They are niche useful not anything to write home about. They really fit my theme and i think (hopefully) i can mule a set bonus or two in them
