CoH can not login

I just created my account and when I start the game and try to login it fails user name and pass word. I tried using the login and password for this site but the says login name or password is incorrect.

What was your solution? Reading through the linked post did not help me

We use two accounts per user: You need a forum account (which you have now) to be able to make a game account here.  Set the username (if you haven't already) and password to what you want to use to login to City of Heroes.  You log into the game using the Game Account only.

 

Keep your Forum Account password secure: it can be used by anyone to change your Game Account at any time, even if they don't know the prior one.
