Bartucian Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 (edited) Hey folks! So I've decided to try my hand at a controller again since the initial nerf on live for the pets. (Where Failureminds came out shortly after. - I can say this as I play them religiously.) Looking for proper advice and tips on creating a plant/rad class for ITF. I currently play a beasts/nature and I can honestly say, nature is just so lackluster for me. Rad has always been a strong point in my play style ever since fire/rad controllers. I've done rad/rad defenders and duoed up with a friend on +4 x2 from 1-50 (thank you debuffs!) Io's are a newer thing to me and I'm still learning but would greatly appreciate some tips, tricks, advice. I plan on this being my ITF char where my other will stay with the smaller groups. [edit: - I've been at it on and off all day and I'm not really sure what I'm looking for or whats needed. I'm not making a solo character, but I want the char to be useful for ITF settings. I know most of RAD wont be great until AV's and EB's but that's why I'm clinging to plants. (Also for RP based character.) - I'll toss up what I've found and figured out soon but if even anyone knows a good post as an example of one or the other powerset IO's please share!] Appreciate everyone's time and effort! subbacultchas Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Am I missing something, or is there a reason for no carrion creepers? It's one of the powers that defines the set, and has the best proc slotting IMO.
