Rare Salvage Spike April 7?

Just today before the maintenance shutdown I've seen 3 different orange salvage items going for 1 million each,  instead of the usual 500,000 or just under.  Fluke, or is something trending?

First off, all rare salvage is fungible, meaning it’s equivalent.  If you look at Alien Blood Sample, it has the same bids, offers, and price history as Magical Conspiracy.  When one gets sold, it becomes generic rare salvage in the pool, and then you can buy it as a specific rare salvage in any form from the pool.

 

Second, last 5 just shows the last five trades.  It doesn’t mean that the next trade Will occurs there.  I’d bet it was just someone wanting to buy a few pieces now at a guaranteed price.

Eh, I moved nine pieces for a million each during the spike.  It's over now.
