With a little bit of time to do nothing, I started playing around with backporting the recent Claws/Invuln-R2 build into other Scrapper Attack sets. 

 

So, disclaimer: I'm not saying any of these builds are optimized for Critical Damage Delivery, or optimized for attack chains. 

 

First up is a Dark/Invuln/Fire scrapper. I dropped [Resist Elements] because it was not adding to the Defense Debuff Protection, and I'd still be pushing ~59% F/C resists with the Scaling Proc. In it's place went [Hasten] to drive a higher recharge on [Soul Drain]. It's not quite perma at ~33sec/30sec, but you still keep the rest of everything else.

 

While I tend to prefer placing Critical Strikes on Cone/TAOE's since those seem to be more reliable in mob-combat, Dark Melee's cone is [Shadow Maul]. From previous scrapper builds I really hate when the Crit Chance goes off while in the middle of a long-animation / low-damage-per-hit-DOT.   So the ATO proc went on [Siphon Life] instead, idea being you can [Soul Drain], [Siphon Life], [Midnight Grasp], [Shadow Maul], (Utility / Tertiary), [Siphon Life], [Midnight Grasp], etc/etc/etc.

Next up was a Psi Melee/Invuln. 

 

Okay, fine, I get it. A lot of players hate Psi Melee. It too often is an All Or Nothing! set. I didn't quite get that on my first avatar with it since I went Bio Armor... and well... Bio Armor can even make Staff Melee look good. 

 

Still, I stuffed in [Boggle], mitigated [Mass Levitate], and pumped [Concentration] with a 6-slot Guassian without drastically lowering the survivability. 

 

That being said, in this version, [Dull Pain] drops to ~6sec off perma, ~126/120. So there is that.
