I believe what you need to do is download the latest Visual C runtimes from Microsoft. " When it's too tough for everyone else, it's just right for me..." The Game Client needs Visual C++ Runtimes to work. It's not needed by Tequila. Realistically, you'll need both to patch and play the game. Open this guide, and scroll to "Prerequisites".
