FullEclipse
Hey guys I made a psi/energy aura scrapper and have made it all the way to the end game. However, I am hurting as all EBs and AVs seem to deal psi damage. I am wondering if there is a way to plug that hole. I am using crafted IOs so no sets as I am not sure which sets are the best for plugging the huge psi hole. Right now I have 22% psionic defense. Is it possible to get it to 45% without sacrificing the caps on the other dmg defenses? All my other defenses are doing fine and should definitely be able to be capped with IO sets or pretty dang close. I did find the gladiators armor +3% defense IO and the Steadfast Protection +3% as well. Any other suggestions for easing the end game content a bit for me? Hjarki
Unfortunately, there's no good answer here. There are only 7 sources of +psi def in IO sets: Scirocco’s Dervish (PBAoE) 6-set +3.125% Soulbound Allegiance (Pet) 6-set +5% Devastation (Ranged) 6-set +3.75% Apocalypse (Ranged) 6-set +5% Miracle (Healing) 6-set +1.875% Impervium Armor (Resist Damage) 3-set +1.875% Rope-a-Dope (Disorient) 6-set +1.875% The two 5% bonuses are unique (and involve powers that aren't common for melee builds). Psi Defense is so hard to acquire that almost no one (not even ranged/pet builds) bothers unless they have some inherent bonus to Psi Defense from primary/secondary. Psi Resist is a bit easier. Aegis has a unique +6% and Impervium Armor has a non-unique +6%, so you can pile +36% Psi Resist on any character with enough resist damage powers.

InvaderStych
The Reactive Defenses "Scaling Resist" piece will give you a base 3% resist (increasing to max 10% iirc as your green bar drops) and the Shield Wall piece will give another 5% - in case you are not already using them. Also there's always the Elusive Mind accolade ... https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Watchman_Badge IIRC running that as an "emergency" button on my /EA and /SD Brutes back in the Long, Long Ago helped a bit. Even if it is a weaker T9 style power on a long-ass timer that can't be enhanced. Still, better than nothing when taking on hard targets with heavy psi dmg. 1 You see a mousetrap? I see free cheese and a f$%^ing challenge.

Lazarus
PSI attacks made by enemies in game are ALWAYS ranged or aoe,.. You will have to build for those 2 positions in order to build defense for psi. Its often much easier to just build +res. and use inspirations for def.
