DoctorDitko Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 While looking through the wiki I found this: Quote /priorityBoost number Set the game process priority to Above Normal rather than Normal when running in the foreground. How exciting! I've been looking for a way to do this for some time (even good ol' Process Lasso throws up its hands). However, in addition to not recognizing that the game actually runs at Below Normal, it does not seem to work. I tried integers, various "magic numbers" and so forth, but no luck. Does anyone know if this useful command still exists? If so, what kind of "number" is it looking for? I get no error when I try, just no joy as far as the process priority is concerned. If no news, I will update the wiki that this function no longer works. Disclaimer: Not a medical doctor. Do not take medical advice from Doctor Ditko. Also, not a physicist. Frostbiter Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 (edited) Did you try /priorityBoost 1? It may be a true/false flag Edited July 28, 2020 by Frostbiter Torchbearer Discount Heroes SG: Frostbiter - Ice/Ice Blaster Throneblade - Broadsword/Dark Armor Brute Silver Mantra - Martial Arts/Electric Armor Scrapper
kiramon Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 IDK If you do /priorityboost #, then do /priorityboost (without a number) it'll echo back whatever you have it set to... lol
DoctorDitko Posted July 30, 2020 Author Posted July 30, 2020 Well, perhaps it's working as designed, then. After all, those people who can hear the difference between "normal" speaker cables and "tuned oxygen-free copper" cables for 1000x the price couldn't possibly be wrong!
