Bots/Traps vs Illusion / Traps for end game

Which one is better for end game contents?  I like both anyway and they are different despite sharing the same secondary power.  Ultimately, for end game contents does one better than the other?

Illusion army is immortal but assault robot does non-regen blasts.   Will you be fighting mobs or archbmonstrs?
