Hello. Here's yet another "rajjy doesn't know what she's doing" build! I just got this sucker through a Synapse TF and it gave him a huge boost in levels (almost 22 now) so I wanna start giving him a bit of a build going. As said, I have no idea what I am doing and people will likely call blasphemy for not taking Singularity. I dunno how or where to fit it in. Maybe if I skip Proton Volley? Anyway, any adjustments would be welcome. The only thing is that I'd like to keep my travel powers. I wanted to go with hover/fly cause rocket boots and RP reasons, but I'm sure others would object and CJ is too good.

EDIT: Any tips on incarnates would be great too!

  • Drop Gravity Distortion Field for Singularity. Best control pet out there.
  • Drop Assault or Tactics for Dimension Shift. Doesn't need more than the base slot.
  • Don't bother slotting Crushing Field for damage. It's a good place to put the other ATO set, or slot with procs.

Interesting changes. Seems odd to drop Distortion Field, but I'll touch up the build in a few and show the results in an edit of this post.

It seemed like the easiest to drop to get Singularity in there. Even with a lot of recharge, GDF is only up every 63-77 seconds (depending on whether Hasten is up), and you've already got AoE control with Wormhole up every 24-29 seconds. Alternatively, you could drop Contaminated Strike - you've got two other ST melee attacks.

Well, Singularity is singularly one of the best powers in the Controller AT. It is better to take than basically any power. The thing about Gravity Distortion Field is that the recharge rate is so long that you end up not using it much. On my Grav/Storm Controller, I keep GDF as an "uh oh" power, and only ever use it when stuff goes sideways. That being said, if it were me, I would dump Vengeance or Assault for Singy. Or maybe the Fighting Pool (more on that later).

Skipping Propel seems a little bit odd, considering it is a great damage and mitigation power, as well as one of the funnest blast powers around. I highly recommend picking up both Singularity and Propel, but that means you need to swap 2 powers.

Back to the Fighting Pool, and the Leadership Pool. You haven't invested heavily for DEF/RES, so I'm not sure the Fighting Pool is really worth three powers and all the slots you gave it. You might think about dumping it and focus more on control as your survival mechanism. That would give you space to pick up Propel and Singularity, and give you another free slot to grab Stealth or something.
