Clash of the Communist Kaiju

I'd appreciate feedback on a 5-mission arc I've published, arc #25408 - Clash of the Communist Kaiju

The heroes are recruited to rescue some interns of an established Super-Science bigwig, which will lead to conflict with old-school Soviet Supersoldiers and monsters from Kaiju Island. Along the way, low-level villains will question their political idealogies and oppressed masses with overthrow a monarchy and Canada will come to the rescue.

 

Giant monsters (well, monster)! Giant Robots! (A lot of giant robots, very polite ones) - and revolutionary rhetoric around every corner.

 

More or less.

It is 5 missions long, but it feels about as long as one of those Goldside contact arcs. I've been testing it in the 35-45 range, but it should work okay at lower levels, although some of the custom bosses might be tough.

 

Best regards to those who try it out. Feel free to comment on the arc with recommendations for me to try out as well. I'm trying to get a Praetorian to 50, and I'll need to do some AE missions for variety.

Recommended arc material? Well in no particular order check out arcs by Nyx-Astraea, Peacock, cranebump, Take One, Miss Jersey and Ankylosaur.

 

I've written a few myself I'm fond of. The most recent of which is Bridge of Forever, a dedicated Gold arc.

 

As for level 50 Gold? 40 to 50 is your definite grind spot. So alternate ouro flashbacks with AE is my go to there. That and teaming with lower levels, plus others doing missions in FW/NW. And remember, as a mixed team every now and then one of them will get kicked if they cross through a non coop zone. And if they get annoyed remind them you're the one on home turf!

Wonderful! I appreciate your recommendation and the your tips on leveling up a Praetorian in the endzone. I've enjoyed doing all the Goldside content available via Ouroboros (using the Supergroup crystal)

Also! From 15 you can do the Summer blockbuster from Pocket D. Just get the other 3 to meet there.

Also!  We're heading into the Valentine's Event shortly. You should be able to do SOME of those missions as a Gold.

NICE! I'm glad you played the mission and got to team with Maple Grove, Canada's super service! (I have to confess: several of my SG allies are Canadian, and much of the Canadian stuff was inspired by in-jokes with them.)

Since you are looking for Praetorian-ish stories, you could try my Policemen vs. Aliens - which spans many levels and ends up in Praetoria - but its definitely from a blueside perspective. and has more to do with Kheldians than Praetoria. 

 

And @Darmian - maybe you should do a level 40-50 series to plug the hole that is sadly left in the goldside. 🙂

Ankylosaur's got some great work in that list!  Do the Praetorian oriented one FIRST of course, but don't shy away from the rest!
