KaizenSoze Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) First off, I am not complaining about the mission. It was a fun challenge, which I had to call in help. There is a red side contact called Mr. G. Check how he is introduced, it's not straightforward. https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Mr._G_(Primal_Earth) His second arc, Sweeps Week: Character vs. the Rogue Isles has a mission called, Part Two: Good Television It seems like a regular mayhem mission, until you after you rob the bank. Then you have to fight all of the New Praetorians at once. That's 4 AVs, one of which is a master mind so 3-4 additional mobs. Damage one and they all come. And you can easily trigger additional PPD ambushes by stumbling into PDD as you try and kite the AVs. I tried to split them with confuse, but they stick together. Once they lose aggro they all go back to the rally point. I started with 4x4 diff, dropped it to 1x4. Still no luck, called in an SG mate, together we were able to defeat them. Still we each died once more time. If you looking for a challenge. Try it out. nihilii Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Yep, this is one of my favorite "new" mission. It's even 6 AVs, rather than 4. Praetorian commander dude, MM scientist, Aurora, Marauder, Riptide and Pendragon. Almost like having your very own Lord Recluse Strike Force finale. 1

I only got 5 AVs, maybe because I was running it solo at first. MM scientist, Commander, Aurora, Riptide, Pendragon, no Marauder. nihilii Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 I wonder if it changes based on the choices we may have made in Praetoria or earlier story arcs. I only ran in on level 50 characters that were powerleveled, several times, and got all 6 AVs on all of them.
KaizenSoze Posted January 27, 2021 Author Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) I will run it again with a full team from Oro. But I have done all the gold side arcs. The rest of that arc is fun. Tub Ci is a nasty AV, but I did beat him solo at 54. With one defeat. Fun fact, family grav pets are very weak to confuse. 🙂 Actually, all mob summoned pets are. I really enjoy turning pets on their masters. If you confuse a Carnie Phantom, the decoy attacks it. My tank basically sat in a corner with the AV's while the team picked them off one at a time. Did not expect that party at the door. 1 1
KaizenSoze Posted January 27, 2021 Author Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) I finished Mr. G's arc. They were a lot of fun, lots of different mobs, multiple AVs, and badges. They are all available via Oro near the bottom of the level 50 section. Edited January 27, 2021 by KaizenSoze Night Pixie on Excelsior Introduction to Arachnos Widows - Night/Blood/Fortunata

Never even thought of that one, because the rest of the game always has a standard number of AVs regardless of your rep. But I think I ran all my arcs on x8. Perhaps that is the common ground?
Coyote Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 That mission will spawn from 1 to 6 (because that's the max New Praetorians) depending on your "size of party"... so if you solo at +4/x1, you'll face one AV at +4. If you're +1/x3, it will be 3 random AVs at +1. I'm not sure if there is a chance that, like some other missions, an AV may spawn at one level higher just for funzies. I've done it multiple times, and it IS possible to pull one of them at a time... but it's HARD. And you have to pull them way off, or the others will eventually aggro. 1
