LQT Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 As per i27p2 patch notes Beta Decay is named as an example of powers which should no longer root due to the power causing no damage to mobs. However the Blaster 2' Atomic Manipulation power of the same name seems to have been missed with this change. Brute and Tanker versions appear to be WAI [Scrapper too I would assume but I don't have one], however still getting a brief root effect when checking on a couple of blasters I have with AM as 2'. If you set a man a flame, you keep him warm for a day. If you set a man aflame, you keep him warm for the rest of his life.
UberGuy Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Yeah, I can confirm via CoD that the root time is set to zero on the melee versions, but not on the Blaster variant. Sounds like an oversight, as the rule seems to be "if it affects foes it roots you when activate, unless it's also a self-buff aura that scales with foes".
LQT Posted August 26, 2021 Author Posted August 26, 2021 This is still not working properly. Fire/Atom/Flame blaster still roots briefly upon activating Beta Decay. Similar situation on a Water/Atom/Flame blaster. If you set a man a flame, you keep him warm for a day. If you set a man aflame, you keep him warm for the rest of his life.
