[Heroic] [40-54] Youth for Eternity (part 1) - Arc ID: 39817

Word on the street is Crey Industry has started a new Magic Division. Combine that with a Crey Security Agent looking for help and it adds up to something worth looking into. Just how much can you trust this Agent Amaya Fox? Bash people's faces in while playing detective. (Magic and Science themed)

Only warning I'll give is it's pretty much all custom enemies. Looking to get some feedback. Good or bad. It's 3 maps long so it should not take anyone to long to play through. If I could get how hard/easy the enemies are, and how you liked the story that would be awesome.

I've tried really hard to catch all the spelling and grammar errors but if you do find any feel free to point them out. Thanks you so much!

Mission 1

Amaya's datapad clue - should it be personnel files instead of personal files?

Yukiko Fox did not fight to help me.  I'm not sure if she was supposed to.  She just followed.  Then she stopped following and I don't know what happened to her.

I like the Crey costumes.  Except the boss in lava armor looked out of place.  I really liked the detail of them calling out that I was a tanker.  It felt Crey-like and science like to label me.

Mission 2

briefing - should be "the theft" not "the thief"

I like the briefing.  Simple mission  Then the twist developing during the briefing.

Great dark elves - now I want a fantasy storyline with these dark elves.  I mean the crey costumes are fine.  But the dark elves look very cool.

The powered armor with crystals doesn't feel Crey to me.  I like the elemental robots though.

I've gone up 2 floors and cannot turn off the cameras.  Not sure if I missed something.  And I just found the desk to do it right by the powered armor guy.  I seem to have found it in the last room.  Which does not help sneaking in.

Once again I get a follower who does nothing but follow.  Not sure why I have it.

Mission3

briefing - it should be "every kitsune vixen" not "every kitsune vixens"

briefing - it should be "If I were you I'd just leave him" instead of "If I were you just leave him"

I have to escort them.  That is so painful.  So much better to just rescue them.

Stumbled on the demon lord.  He wasn't so tough.  But I had forgotten about him.

Great detail in this mission.  I love the police at the beginning arresting the crey guards.

missed a kitsune, now I have to go back and search.  Back at the entrance.  I'd cleared the enemies but not noticed her behind a pillar.

Overall I really liked the arc.  Simple plot but with an interesting story.  The contact was great.  The dark elves came out of nowhere but were cool so I enjoyed them.  Lots of nice details.

This is what I like.  A nice simple plot to follow with missions on cool maps with lots of detail.

Thank you so much DougGraves. Your comments are a huge help!

Yukiko Fox did not fight to help me.  I'm not sure if she was supposed to.  She just followed.

In this first mission Yukiko Fox does not have her bow or quiver. This is why she does not help you fight. She does help fight on mission 3. (Her custom reflects this in the later mission) As for the game mechanics the main reason she is in this mission is to provide a waypoint for the secret passage next to the fireplace.

The powered armor with crystals doesn't feel Crey to me.  I like the elemental robots though.

Thank you or your feedback. I'll see if I can make this feel more Crey. Maybe I made him to fat. Since this is the Magic division of Crey I was going with magic powered crystals. He is also trying to match the crystal powered sergeants with ray guns.

Once again I get a follower who does nothing but follow.  Not sure why I have it.

These are search android. They are there to give you a waypoint to the file cabinet glowy. Of course if you bring an android to a file cabinet before you turn off the cameras then it may seem confusing. I'll see if I can word them different or something.

I have to escort them.  That is so painful.  So much better to just rescue them.

I totally understand. However, rescuing them does something strange on this map where they run ahead and even open doors for you. Escorts do slow you down but I feel it makes the player take extra care to make sure they save all the girls. Fighting with teenage girls in tow is suppose to be a handicap. Maybe if I reduce the number of kitsunes will make it less painful? I think about it.

Again thank you so much for all your feedback! With just a few last tweaks I think I can call this AE done and I can start on part 2.
