Bel
The description for Haunt says it accepts -tohit sets. On controller it accepts acc -tohit sets like cloud senses, but on dom it doesn't accept either -tohit or acc -tohit sets.
Tater Todd
I always thought this was intentional as I thought this was to give the Controller version more of an edge. I've also discussed this before in the past with a Dev but I don't remember which dev I spoke with or if this was answered or not *facepalm* (Maybe it was w/ a Discord admin? I dunno). Regardless it would be nice if Dominators are able to use the same sets as Controllers.
UberGuy
Seems like an oversight to me. That's not a place the devs would usually turn in order to give an edge between ATs. If they wanted to do such a thing, I think they would remove the actual -toHit from the Dominator version. (Which I think would be a weird thing to do and I'm not advocating for it, because -toHit is "Dark" sets' thing.) The fact that it has the -toHit and the -toHit is enhanceable on both ATs is what really suggests to me that it's just a miss. Tater Todd
It's just baffles me that it's been like this for so long. I would be completely gobsmacked if they didn't know about the Dom version not taking Accurate To-Hit Debuff sets. Maybe it's one of those things that's known but has been pushed on the side for future changes? Maybe it will be looked at if they ever revisit Control sets? (If ever)
zenblack
There is so much going on and so many things to do that I can completely understand that HC overlooked or low prioritized this. Even things that are reported and consistently have bug reports put in take time to get done.
UberGuy
I feel like the biggest thing stuff like this needs is automation. Like, by default, there should be a programmatic way to tell what everything's slottable sets are by default or by inspecting it. It should be possible to override defaults, but the override should be inspectable and testable. The fact that so much of this is manual and not self documenting (and was even more manual even in Paragon Studios' day) is the root of many evils.
