Returning Player Having Issues

I stepped away from the game for about a year, but now I can't log in with my information (and I'm ridiculously simple with my passwords). Does the game wipe you if you're inactive for a certain period of time?

Not that I know of.  Even if your characters were all just sitting at level 1 I can’t imagine that would cause the entire account to be deleted. Maybe check directly with HC support staff to see what’s up?  And welcome back (sort of!).
