Beam/Dev/Soul Build

Hello everyone! I started to fall in love with beam rifle..so i read some posts about it, thought i could share one of the builds i recently created.

I know there may be some mistakes, especially in field operative, but with this setup i cap ranged def and it is perma-hastened.

 

Feel free to share your opinions.

My goal with this one was to make him a solo toon, with nice debuffs from caltrops and the soul pool..there is one power i like but i have no idea on how it is in gameplay situation, WEAKENED RESOLVE from the force pool..if i take that i would have to change everything so i better not touch anything.

Any particular reasons you went /soul instrad of /mu?

I'm guessing for the the -to-hit, but why not just lead with Smoke Grenade?

 

But then why not Flame Mastery because Bonfire is a much better for damage mitigation and control and combines well with Caltrops.
