I didn't even click on the new Beta heading in Tequila, it just started up. Would be awesome to have this be an optional setting to save bandwidth and playtime. Burnsidhe Posted June 1, 2019 Share Posted June 1, 2019 Having this problem too. When Homecoming BETA was attached to the main Homecoming manifest, it automatically downloads the new server's files. Just copy the contents of your "homecoming" folder into the "beta-hc" folder and restart Tequila. (It's not even close to being at 25%) I've checked my internet connection and all is running fine, so I am not sure if the file is huge or there's a connection issue between me and the server. Edit: Nevermind, Tequila crashed and when I restarted it zipped through. Technology... a bloody nightmare at times, hah. Will always love being an Empathy Defender! Sod the haters! I downloaded the entire game on 3 PC’s, one took 12 hours, one took 8 hours, and one took 90 min. I think the speed of hosting servers is one of the big gaiting factors in the time to download. And their bandwidth depends on how many people are downloading at once. TL;DR - too early to worry. BALAKÉ Posted June 11, 2019 Share Posted June 11, 2019 I keep getting an error about my drivers not being up-to-date ( even though they are ) and I've been told to just ignore the error messages and it should load the game, but I wait and wait, and still nothing.
