Hi, welcome to the forums!

 

I'd swap the Shield Wall Unique to Combat jumping and dedicate more slots for defense and end reduction to Weave and Maneuvers.   You could also 4(or 5 if you want the LotG) slot Weave with Shield Wall for some Regen, Hps, and Energy/Negative resist.

Replace the Numina Unique for a Panacea in Health.

I usually just slot Stamina with a Performance Shifter:Chance for Endurance, especially if i'm looking for slots. 

I'm not sure Gladiator's Javelin is the best choice for Blazing Arrow.  Maybe Apocalypse I guess if you don't try for some more Ranged defense here.

Add a Slot to Future Pain for 10% recharge.

I usually prefer Scorpion Shield rather than Resist armors, but if that's part of your theme, I'd try to grab some more Smashing/Lethal and/or Ranged Defense.....You only have one PBAoE and one melee attack.  

 

Unfortunately I have little experience with Temporal Manipulation.  Does Time Wall need 5 slots?  Is Time Stop worth proccing out?  Is Future Pain worth slotting and using?  

 

Hopefully someone with more experience can give you a bit more clarity.

@Ignatz the Insane Thank you for the advice! I will play around with your suggestions. I am not too familiar with TM or blasters. I am usually play melee or trollers. I figured Temp Invul was better for resists than scorpion shield. I try to get high smash/lethal resists on most of my toons.

 

As for Time wall and Time Stop -I figured since Time Wall is the main power that applies delay to an enemy, I would want to enhance it a bit. I slotted Time wall to do damage... This should do more damage to a "delayed" enemy.

 

Between RoA, Explosive, and EoT - AoEs should be decent enough. Fistful of arrows is just meh and a pain. 😛 

 

Hopefully I can work out a decent build with some tinkering and your advice.

Time wall is a one slot wonder. Use it before time stop to one shot hold a boss. It should not be a part of your regular single target rotation though.

 

You are missing out on some -res and force feedback proc opportunities, fire/cold defense is not all that useful outside of fire farms. Time stop has the potential to be specced as a proc monster that deals a lot of damage. The status/psionic resist IOs do nothing for blasters, the psi resist is inconsequential and high defense and breakfrees deal with mez far better than mez resist.

 

You picked up quite a few melee range powers, how do you plan on handling/mitigating melee range retaliation?

@Nemu Thank you for the tips. I only have two melee powers in the build, EoT and Future pain. Future pain was mainly for slots, but the damage is also better than most of the archery skills. I would add this to a rotation if enemies are close or out of boredom. More damage of any kind is better than none. Plus staying a distance is a pain on some maps, so why not have an close range skills that do more damage that some of the range ones. 

 

Creating builds is not my specialty and I do appreciate all the help. I really do like this combo for some reason and hope to make a decent build with it.

I haven't had time to do a more detailed write up as I do with some of the other posts seeking help. I'll reference those threads so you can get an idea of building principles. The first stage is really just about focus and stacking set bonuses.

Archery power slotting wise when it comes to sets is fairly similar to beam, meaning that both sets consists entirely of ranged and ranged AoE attacks, no PBAoE. Both sets have one power where you can fit in a force feedback proc and you should find ways to squeeze it into explosive arrow for archery.

 

Where you will differ in your build is your inclusion of melee attacks in /Temp. There are two ways you can cover survival in melee

 

1 - Take defense shield and buff up your Smashing/Lethal and MOST IMPORTANTLY Range defense, I covered why range defense in the dual pistols post. This approach is more forgiving against most content but when you do get hit it will hurt.

 

2 - Take a resist shield like temp invuln and any of it's elemental variants and buff up your range defense, and use movement to limit your melee exposure through jousting/kiting, I covered the technique in the dual pistols/dark manipulation post. This is a bit harder to get a handle on if you haven't mastered game fundamentals such as kiting/using line of sight and movement.
