fancy ketchup Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 I use acrobatics as hold protection on my blaster. I was looking and noticed it has "knockback" listed as an allowable enhancement. I went to slot a forcefeedback io and it wouldnt allow me to.. I figured maybe i need a resistance io?... i mean its a knockback resistance power, not knockback.. When i tried to slot an aegis psionic resist io it wouldnt let me do that either.. so im wondering what is allowable that is a "knockback" enhancement? Am i missing something?
Dona Eis Requiem Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 There are no allowable sets for Acrobatics. You can only slot IO/SO/DO KB Increase, End Reduction, or Recharge in it.
InvaderStych Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 (edited) Generally speaking, attributes like Mez Protection (magnitude that nullifies the effect if it is less than the protection level) and Mez Resistance (expressed as a percentage that reduces the duration of any mez that gets through "protection") are not enhance-able in the way that Dmg Resistance or Defense are. There might be exceptions to this in Support powersets that I am not familiar with, but in terms of self-defense toggles/clicks, that is almost always the case. Edit: Turns out KB/Acro is one of those exceptions, see below. Edited October 29, 2021 by InvaderStych I stand corrected. You see a mousetrap? I see free cheese and a f$%^ing challenge.
fancy ketchup Posted October 28, 2021 Author Posted October 28, 2021 Ah!.. I never knew that thank you both!! Its too bad it would be a great slot to put a random unique weird enhancement of some kind. 😄 1
Uun Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Knockback enhancements increase the magnitude of the knockback protection, however, -7.0 mag is flagged to ignore enhancements and only -2.0 mag is enhanceable. Each lvl 50 KB IO would only improve knockback protection by about -1.5, so really not worth slotting. The -2.0 mag hold protection isn't enhanceable. Most people just slot an endred IO and call it a day. 2 Uuniverse
