Redletter
Does the DOT from your kitty scratches scale with your meter? I know that SM was kinda fiddly before the rock blast patch and not doing the damage it was supposed to apparently? But Im wondering if the DOTs it applies count as damage that your rage meter effects. Likewise, does the DOTs BUILD meter? Like, does every tick give you rage? If so, does the class IO that gives you a chance for extra meter apply on the power AND it's DOTs, or just the power? Razorback
A quibble: Rage is an ability in Super Strength, Fury is the Brute damage buff. Yes, Savage's DoTs scale with Fury. No, they don't generate it. However, Savage's fast attacks, short cooldowns and native recharge buffs will help build Fury quickly. IMO, Savage is strongest on a Brute due to its interactions with Fury. Best paired with a secondary that offers some damage of its own. Savage/Fire if you want to play like this:
Neiska
My Savage/Bio brute is one of my strongest and most fun builds to play. 😃 1
aethereal
Fury is just a global damage buff, basically like eating a red insp. It will generally affect the damage of (almost) all powers. The only really common source of damage not affected by fury is procs. Edited April 5, 2022 by aethereal

So much DOT and mobs just melt. 1
