Archery / Plant / Fire Blaster - How to improve?

Hi folks,

 

I tried my hand at this Blaster, went with plant and Sorcery because of Theme, but I kinda can't get a grip on it 

How would you improve on it?

Easiest (and cheapest) is just to toss thunderstrike and artillery sets at a blaster build til you have ranged defence. Sorcery is forcing you to skip a pool (in this case flight for hover or leaping for combat jump) which makes you a little floaty if you plan on running mystic fly or glued to the floor when its off. Mobility is key to most play in the game regardless of AT. I'll toss this on its cheap and easy (the hammi's are in out of habit but a couple end/res pieces can replace them). I wouldn't even bother with the melee attacks and i skipped hasten for hover as i'd find it preferrable on a build like this. Your slotting of spirit ward with a miracle presumes your never soloing or always have a pet out you can throw it on. You appear to have gone for a ton of melee defence but i haven't opened your build as i can see already you won't be hitting whatever it is you aimed for and you threw in stuff like a 6th blistering for fire/cold/aoe def but no other sets to provide the same:

I am following your lead here. Not bothering with Hasten seemed logical, the attacks cycle through just as easy without, I guess.

I was wondering what you get out of 4 slots of Hypersonic in Mystic Flight, besides speed... any other particular reason? I am tempted to throw those slots at Vines an Bonfire for Procs. I really enjoy laying down AoE attacks. Not concerned by the slow fly speed as such with MF...

 

General question about Overwhelming Force vs. Sudden Acceleration KB-KD: Do they both work the same way? What is the advantage of OF over SA, and why is OF slotted in Explosive Arrow, but Bonfire slots SA? 

 

Regarding Spirit Ward, honestly it seems to not be a particularly useful power. At least I don't use it much or forget to use it anyway. Just went with it to get to RoP.

I am considering switching it to Arcane Bolt, which also would be closer to Mama on a Blaster. Using the 3 slots from Mystic Flight could proc it to some decent damage output and with 2 Winters Bite to shore up Mez protection.

The slots in mystic flight were just there because i like the set and if you run the power it tends to be end heavy but with hover on and mystic off theres no need for the set there- it doesnt give any useful bonuses so you can remove them and toss them in anywhere. Overwhelming force kb/kd has a dmg component more useful in explosive than bonfire-bonfire does minimal damage and you can only slot 1 piece so i throw a sudden acc in instead. Spirit ward is just taken to get to rune and is a useful place to throw in a preventetive proc saving you a slot elsewhere. I wouldn't bother with arcane bolt on a ranged blaster, you already get more than enough attacks to form an attack chain. Maybe something like this:
