Oh yeah. I can't believe I forgot about the lack of equity in this regard. 

In the original scheme, I'm not sure it makes much difference, as it was expected that a praetorian would choose red/blue and grab the accolades in their own time. But for folks who wish to stay praetorian, it would be nice to have a method to acquire them.
