Honestly though, what makes me do the Jonah laugh at this is:

 

There are people doing lots for their volunteer projects, yet it comes off to me almost like there’s a creepy sycophantic devotion to these devs from folks here because “they gave us our game back(they didnt. That was Score or whatever, and THEY didnt want to but it got leaked, so…).

 

Look, there’s liking the game and that’s awesome! But saying, “they do it for free” and expecting folks to not vent their frustrations, then when a dissenting opinion is given, being lambasted and given this “they do it for free” excuse( to those being mature about it) is laughable. Hence why people well…laughed. 
 

 

Also! They are not glass, they will not break bc some people on the internet said a mean word. They don’t need a cult at their beck ‘n call. Not saying everyone who likes them is apart of said cult, that’s directed to the fervent defender-types(and im not talkin the AT :P)

 

Edit: I appreciate the good but I do not give a pass on the bad. I, well I at least attempt to, give my blunt yet inpersonal view on changes proposed and will do so. “Do this for free” be damned.

I have absolutely no argument with what you just said, it all makes perfect sense. It'S one thing to be thankful for the effort of a team but it's another to apply blind devotion and ignore any other option because of that enthusiasm.

 

That said, all I feel here IS enthusiasm. I don't go anywhere else because I never felt my experience was compromised at any point, I'm just happy here, and while I can understand why some people may feel differently, I felt it was pushing it a bit to just point and laugh without an explanation.

 

Now I have an explanation. Thank you.
