Crystal Dragon Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 The last one I had is a good deal of broken with recent changes in the newest page. Does anyone have a functioning chat log parser I could download, or anyone have one I can get a copy of? Roleplaying mentor volunteer, and mentorship contributor. Carnifax Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 What are you parsing? My site goes through the chatlogs to do the combat parsing but the first step is stripping out the non-combat chat entries. Originally I was dumping them into another file but I started deleting them instead for privacy reasons My level 50 builds [Bullitt Time : DP/Kin Corruptor] [Carnifax : Ill/Dark Controller] [Kerriae : Plant/Storm Controller] [Echinoderm : Bio/Spines Tank] [Iron Brew : Mace/Rad Brute] [Snookered : Staff/NRG Brute] [iScream : Ice/Ice Scrapper] [Binman : Savage/Shield Stalker] [Modul-8 : Time/Sonic Defender] [Concussion Blast : Fire/NRG Domi] [Orblivion : Dark/Martial Domi] [Mombie : Necro/Nature MM] [Tempore : Water/Time Blaster] [Thermodynamic Flux : Ice/Fire Blaster] [Carni's Online CombatLog Parser Alpha]
Crystal Dragon Posted January 25, 2023 Author Posted January 25, 2023 Basic chat logs, it's a pain to sort through the HTML tags and removing them from the logs. I used to have one that worked, but page five completely broke it with the chat range command additions. Roleplaying mentor volunteer, and mentorship contributor. Crystal Dragon Posted February 9, 2023 Author Posted February 9, 2023 The only one I've found chat log parser wise doesn't have an option to pick channels to filter the log files. If anyone ends up making one, please lettme know. Roleplaying mentor volunteer, and mentorship contributor. Chatrange Popmenu/Where to find me/Beginners Links
lemming Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Fairly easy regex parse for getting all chat channels: print $line, "\n" if ($line =~ m/\[[\s\w]+\]/); Stripping out the color tags would be $line =~ s/<color #[\d\w]{6}>|<bgcolor #[\d\w]{6}>//g; 1 1
BlackSpectre Posted May 21, 2023 Posted May 21, 2023 ... and if you don't want to deal with code, very easy to do with either Notepad++ (Windows) or BBEdit (Mac). 1 Black Spectre - A Dark Defender's Home on the Web • The Advanced Bind Guide • The Masters of BAF: A Guide for Leaders and Players • The Wiki List of Slash Commands
