Request: Chat log parser?

The last one I had is a good deal of broken with recent changes in the newest page. Does anyone have a functioning chat log parser I could download, or anyone have one I can get a copy of?

What are you parsing? My site goes through the chatlogs to do the combat parsing but the first step is stripping out the non-combat chat entries. Originally I was dumping them into another file but I started deleting them instead for privacy reasons

Basic chat logs, it's a pain to sort through the HTML tags and removing them from the logs. I used to have one that worked, but page five completely broke it with the chat range command additions.

The only one I've found chat log parser wise doesn't have an option to pick channels to filter the log files. If anyone ends up making one, please lettme know.

Fairly easy regex parse for getting all chat channels:

print $line, "\n" if ($line =~ m/\[[\s\w]+\]/);

 

Stripping out the color tags would be

$line =~ s/<color #[\d\w]{6}>|<bgcolor #[\d\w]{6}>//g;

... and if you don't want to deal with code, very easy to do with either Notepad++ (Windows) or BBEdit (Mac).
