Character Search on selection

Totally by accident I clicked on the area above the page arrows for characters and saw the resultant ability

I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THIS!!!  (Or I forgot about it)

Maybe it shouldn't be hidden like that then? I never knew there was a filter there.

 

Edit: It's not actually hidden. It is right there as a search box. Guess I just never noticed it before.

I know!  It's subtle, but right there.

I just wish there was an option not simply to search, but in fact to SORT.
