30 minute bomb lockout in instanced MSR

There’s a 30 minute bomb lockout in the instanced MSR.  Maybe the same exists for the zone MSR, I’m not sure.  Is there any workaround for this?

 

2 bombs are needed to spawn the GM and we wanted to get in, get the badges and get out and repeat.

 

The problem with a large league is that getting kill credit on the GM depends on the team you’re on so often times you’re left with more bombs than GM kills.

 

Anyway, it’d be nice if there were no bomb lockout.

Have everyone alternate characters between rounds.  Round 1, play character A.  Round 2, play character B.  Round 3, play character A again.

 

The mothership raid just wasn't designed for people to ditch it right after defeating U'Kon Gr'ai and go again.  Removing the bomb lockout won't happen because it would undermine the Demolitionist badge as people would be able to plant ten or more bombs in one run.

Maybe the proper request then is to have GM badge kill credit shared across the league instead of having requirements for each team to do x% of damage.  The same problem exists during Halloween and the Banners and every other GM league scenario as well.

That would be nice.  In the meantime, I've found the best bet is to have only one or two people per team (preferably those with the highest defense), plant bombs, while everyone else goes directly to the mothership bowl.  That way every team should get credit for both the Demolitionist and Master at Arms badges.  Too many other Rikti mothership raid leaders though have everyone do the bomb phase, which results in a greater chance of people missing Master at Arms badge credit.

I dont think the bomb lockout can be circumvented.  Im pretty sure adding a fresh member to a team with a locked member prevents them from planting a bomb.  With several people you could farm Ukon but not bombs.  Have the bomb planters on their own team so each can plant a bomb to spawn Ukon,  then merge the team for the fight and swap around for the next run.
