Minor Costume Question

Here's an odd one: I keep assigning a custom spawn to use the "Nemesis Rifle 2" for their AR powers, but it always defaults back to the basic, uh, default, rifle look. 

 

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

I don't but I think it might be tied to a general bug where the AR weapon model resets to default in the CC when tinkering with the costume. 

 

Which was annoying enough to get me to delete my new AR/Dev toon before level 15.

I think it's finally stuck, but yeah, I believe that's what it was: open up the foe's page to edit power choice or anything else = default.
