Hello, with the population shift since I played last I wanted to move a couple of toons over to Excelsior from Torch.

My main guy is a toon named Plyx  this was also my main guy back on live.

However it seems the name Plyx is taken on Excelsior, my first thought was that I had reserved it on another account but after checking that is not the case.

So I was wondering if whoever had would be willing to give it up? I could offer $1 billion inf for it.

Also I wondering  if the name isn't being used how one would go about petitioning for it to be released?

You can send in a ticket if you like, but the DEVs aren't going to release it unless they active the name-release policy system wide.

You can use this structure on the server to see the global name of the player that has the name on Excelsior

/getglobalname "Super Slug"

You could sent them a tell about it, but, please, do not stalk them.

If you do stalk them, they can report you for harassment.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
