Anyway, Made a new toon yesterday, (so far I've stayed away from Scraps, because you all know how Scraplock can be). I Made a freakin' Psionic / WP, and DAAaaaang. *sigh* I'm doomed.

 

BUT, this morning, I'm watching old wrestling mathces, y'know, Stone Cold vs the Rock, etc. and was thinking, "Why not a wrestler type guy???? (or gal)

 

Maybe.... Street Justice and...??? I dunno, Regen? I've always been a fan of WP. Folks also say for the higher end, you're gonna need Inv. And in my view, the fewer toggles the better.

 

So... question is, how would YOU make a Pro Wrestler character? Something with throws, and lockdowns? Super Strength? It don't even matter if he / she is Tanker, Scrap, Stalker. In fact, my Psi / WP form last night IS a Tank, but goes into ScrapLock so good, I forget she's a tank lol! 

 

EDIT: Oh Yeah, the reason I went Psionic, was because I noticed just how little we players get resist / def against Psionic, so I thought, what if it works both ways?

WP works fine for end game. SJ, MA, or SS will work. SJ an SS are both legit fun powersets outside of actually being great as well. If I wasn't already doing both with other builds, I would do both as /wp brutes in a heartbeat. SJ is the most wrestler type.

I second SJ/WP Wrasslin.  Scrapper or Brute, great on both.

 

WP works quite well at endgame.  Being a mixed mitigation set (Resist, Defense, and Regen) its a very good chassis for building set bonuses onto.
