Custom Colors

Greetings everyone:

I've searched the forums but apparently my search-fu is weak and cannot find what I'm looking for

or

I've gotten very old and have started creating false memories (scary) but

just in case

I vaguely remember a thread about being able to customize the color palette (client side) for greater variety

can some kindhearted person either

refresh my memory on how to do this or point me in the right direction?

I meant through constant sifting i found the original thread i was looking for

I mistakenly thought this idea was possible but apparently i misremembered 

as us old folk are wont to do
