Unable to equip Incarnate Abilties

I just hit 50 last night and while in a party today someone walked me through creating incarnates. I created two and when I go to slot them, I get the following message:

 

" Incarnate ability Ageless Core Invocation has not been equipped."

 

I have tried different zones to include ouros. Shut off all auras, auto abilities. Logged off game and give it 10 mins. Switched to build #2, switched back to build 1. Right click slot power, double click. Try to remove power and nothing. Nothing works.

 

Should I just roll another and not do that again in a party or something....idk thanks for any help. Looked onlne and dont see anyone with the specific problem.

Did you make sure to unlock your destiny slot, which is where ageless fits? That's a ways past 50.

I don't think I did. Let me look into that. I was farming AE and this person joined my team and rushed me through creating it wanting to help. I def think I missed something. How do I unlock a destiny slot? They had me create a couple and I couldn't get it to equip and they didn't know either.

Biggest tip is to stay out of the AE for awhile and experience the game. There's a whole arc that you get directed to in Ouroboros at 50 that helps you understand about incarnate powers. After that it's basically play your character get XP, do incarnate content in Dark Astoria, or other itrials. The incarnate slots unlock in order from alpha->interface/judgement->destiny/lore->hybrid.

I know you already answered this question but just an fyi. When you do slot it eventually, if you create more then one type of incarnate power, there is a cool down period between unslotting and slotting again.
