Angel of Dust
I have been repeatedly changing my recharge timer settings from >15 seconds to Always and Minutes & Seconds to Minutes & Seconds with Fractions, but the game will not remember these changes after I log out, even if I hit the Save Options to File button and the Save Window Settings file. I checked and I do not see those files being changed back after I log in, so I don't think something's reverting them. Before the recent patch, this was not an issue. I set it once and the game remembered it across all of my characters. Can someone please help me resolve this? It's getting frustrating doing this over and over again... City Council Michiyo Posted March 4 City Council Share Posted March 4 If you are using Tequila, or some other 3rd party launcher that is expected. The "Legacy" client settings supported by launching the game from other launchers is no longer supported. You should switch to the Homecoming launcher to save these settings, and other improvements that it provides.
Angel of Dust
Ah. That would explain it. I am, indeed, still using Tequila. I have to say that it is irritating that they took something that was working with Tequila and "improved" it in a way that made it not work anymore. Thank you for the response! Tequila is legacy and as secure as a bucket with no bottom. The launcher is a closed system and while it would be nice to be compatible with Tequila our support for Tequila has ended and at some point the launcher will be the only way to play Homecoming.
Angel of Dust
@GM Crumpet Thank you very much for the response, and that makes complete sense. I've already made the switch to the Homecoming Launcher and was surprised to find it much easier than the wiki implied. It actually copied everything over from my Tequila folder, so the install was a breeze! Out of curiosity, and I know I'm wondering a bit off-topic here, but do you know if there's been any impetus to add 2FA to the login system?

Angel of Dust
Thanks for your kind attention, Crumpet. I've opened a separate topic for this in the suggestions forum instead.
