Omega Kong Fight Bug

During the special Omega Kong fight for [Excalibonk] we have encountered several times an Isssue where the ambushes that are suppose to show up after saving Glacia Npc do not show up or show up smaller than normal. Ambushes are still heard but do not show up. Suspected bug of certain parts or full ambushes spawning Under the map. During the Kong fight even after clearing the 2 intended Magus spawn, enemies in the room are receiving Vengeance and other buffs/heals from an unseen source. Suspected Chief Magus and perhaps guardian healer npcs from the ambushes are under the map boosting. Did one run same team finished Kong Fight in 11.5 mins, same team nxt round when the bug happened couldnt finish the fight nxt round 30 mins after, same team compositions pretty much and players even through max defense and resistances through having shields and barrier teams still took a ton of dmg and thats while team was positioned behind the av to avoid cone and Aoe attacks. Possible Suggested fix if this is indeed the case is to remove any Magus EBs in the 3 ambushes that spawn after Glacia is rescued and replace them with other EBs. and maybe clean those ambushes of guardian healer npcs.

 

Got an update maybe broken tiles. Found a flock of  flying monkeys with Veng buff under the Kong arena too.

Thanks for the report! Always on the look-out for bugs that sneak through...

Unfortunately, after a lot of attempting and testing those ambushes, we were unable to get even a single hostile mob to go outside the map, which should be theoretically impossible due to the lack of beacons outside of the map boundaries. This also means they cannot teleport out of bounds as there are no beacons for them to path through.

For tests, we even tried teleporting them directly outside the map, but the pathing beacons just moved them back in-bounds instantly.

Additionally, the ambushes were triggered and character left sitting out of bounds to see if they could theoretically find a way out, but they never were able to even with hours of time:

If we can't reproduce this locally even once, then unfortunately there's not much we can do to fix it.
 

I'd ask if you can do some more testing on Brainstorm and see if you can provide steps to reproduce the issue consistently, otherwise developer time is sadly a finite resource, and we could not find a way to trigger what you're describing with the time we spent looking into the bug.

EDIT: Worth mentioning that if either Infernia or Glacia are defeated after being rescued, it will stop any of their remaining ambushes from spawning.
