I have downloaded the new Homecoming launcher on a new PC, gone to the Game Account on the forums site and reset my password through email recovery. I attempt to log into the Homecoming launcher with my Game Account username and password and I get the following error: Am I doing something wrong? I've been an occasional player using tequilla for a few years. for a bit over a month now, I get a message"We were unable to locate the game data files. It is likely that your installation is corrupt and needs to be repaired. The game will now exit." without ever seeing the login screen, and nothing seems to help. I've tried redownloading everything, same message. Recently downloaded the Sweat Tea launcher. After getting that set up, I run the launcher, get to the log-in, and it tells me my username or password is not accepted. Game Master GM Crumpet Posted September 2 Game Master Share Posted September 2 The launcher has all the changes built in, Tequila and Sweet Tea don't. Binds often don't save for instance as they are now saved in a different way. It's why we don't support third party launchers any more and will stop providing a manifest at some point.
