Need to kick my graphics settings. Need help ASAP on this.

I had to rebuild my machine with replacement motherboard and CPU.
They're identical.  But I'm getting anomalous behavior with the graphics.  Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't.
And just starting up HC Launcher causes the graphics to lock up.

I want to run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and cause the game to reset to Default.

I simply do't remember how  to do it, through the interface of via command line.

Need to get this problem banged out ASAP as I have a ship raid to run tomorrow.

Do you have a dedicated graphics card? Onboard ones are notorious for being terrible. What I found with my laptop was I had to open the Nvidia control panel and in the 3D settings mark the graphics card as default always rather than auto as Windows kept opening the game with the onboard intel chip. I assume other graphics card manufacturers have the same options.

I dinked around and kinda sorta got it cleaned up to the point I could play.

Apparently an utterly identical CPU and motherboard wasn't enough

AMD cards can't handle the game's shadow rendering, you've gotta bump those down to minimum (dark circles under every character) or the game will lock up.

 

Most other settings should be fine.
