Futuregirl Posted May 20 Posted May 20 The fact that the effectiveness of an IO doesn't change as my level changes is useful information, but not really the most relevant issue when someone is trying to combine enhancements. What I want to do, and what this message should pertain to, is about raising the level of the enhancement. Perhaps the cyan text in the lower green circle should just be removed. Also, at the top, if an IO can't be combined with ANYTHING then it should just say so—like it does in the tooltip in red.
Rudra Posted May 20 Posted May 20 This is not a bug. The tool tip checked to see if any other enhancements can be combined with the enhancement you are trying to improve, and like it says, there are none. And whether you are on the merge screen or just the enhancement window, IOs always state that they cannot be merged with another enhancement.
Futuregirl Posted May 22 Author Posted May 22 (edited) If the text is out of context, or could be specific, but is not, the text is inadequate—something that could be improved. i.e., a bug, albeit from a game designer's point of view, not necessarily from a programmer's point of view who wants his code to do what he intended it to do (which no one else knows, btw). Perhaps this base post should have been in Suggestions. Edited May 22 by Futuregirl
Frozen Burn Posted May 22 Posted May 22 The top text (in your top green circle) is still accurate as you COULD combine that IO with up to 5 boosters to make it a 30+5 (ie lvl 35) enh. But you do not have any boosters right now, so that is why it is giving you that message.
