Hey folks recently joined HC after playing on live many moons ago, been flip flopping around from a number of different character concepts and builds as I try to revive my main (kat/WP scrap, which I don't want to remake entirely)

 

really enjoy sentinels and I've settled on a dark/ninja/weapon sent 

 

anyone played this combo, thoughts and/or builds they'd like to share? 

 

here's what i'm working with any advice, critiques or suggestions welcomed

 

I'm not too sure if i got the build sharing done correctly so let me know if not 

 

here's a few considerations 

 

- The sword is important in some respect, at least one of the sword powers is neccesary

- i really like the combination of caltrops with blinding powder and confuse proc so i'd be slow to drop it 

- mystic flight is also a given 

- most of the other powers are relatively changeable

Edit: I'm open to water blast in place of dark blast as it can thematically still work so any builds featuring that instead would be welcomed also although i do like the -tohit of dark, i'm not convinced of the damage capabilities of dark

No builds to share, but Dark/Ninja was one of my first characters in HC. 

 

Solid combo. I like Dark Blast on Sentinels because of Obliteration for aoe. It procs easily to help with damage. I use 4 Thunderstruck and 2 procs in the ST attacks.

 

Sturdy all-rounder is how I'd describe it

Here is mine. I'm still building it on out, but I've greatly enjoyed running this one solo. He can handle EBs without much trouble, but his damage and resistance sadly aren't quite able to crunch down an AV without the help of Lore pets.

 

My main focus on the character was versatility, which has made for a character with stealth, softcapped positional defenses, the ability to restore a large amount of its own resources every 20 seconds, what I'd call "decent" resistances for a pure defensive set, and the ability to mix things up both in melee and at long range. I'm still working towards completing this one, because I'm not the best builder and threw in way too many pricey sets, but it's been one of the most fun characters I've played in HC so far.
