I've come to realize the type of person who would send that tell is the CoH version of a Karen complaining about sidewalk chalk. They're miserable, self-absorbed, and ultimately unimaginative people. Nothing can educate or even placate a person like that.

 

If I were on a normal PUG just doing a TF or whatever and someone just told me straight out that they are having fun using KB, I wouldn't be annoyed, I would think that was awesome.   Personally, I find it more tiresome when folks try to convince me that they are being "effective" using KB.  No, you're not.  You are having a good time and that's what we play games for.  I feel exactly the same way when I see a non-tank using Fold Space constantly.  If you're having fun, that's the best and only excuse needed.

I can find KB and Fold Space vexing but I don't criticize those on my team that use it. I just roll with it.  

 

A fix would be to coordinate these in a way that benefits the team but I usually just run PUGs so Chaos is often king. 

 

Also I find criticizing others for their powers worse in these situations, just let them have fun 💗 I don't know the person using it, I've seen people quit a team over harsh criticism and I don't want to be the person to shame them.  I'll go out of my way to help people because RL can be hard enough, this is a place of fun and community away from all that.
