Saint Nick Posted July 18 Posted July 18 SO i am getting nothing but a black screen with audio when starting the game up, the mouse cursor is visible though. Anyone else have seen/have a fix for this issue?
Lead Game Master GM Impervium Posted July 18 Lead Game Master Posted July 18 In HC Launcher, click the little gear int he upper right corner. Next, click "Homecoming" in the left-hand window. On the right, check "Reset Graphics on Next Run". Close the window, and try starting up the game again. Once you're in, slowly restore your graphic preferences. If this works, you'll have to repeat these steps and un-check the "reset graphics" box, as it will continue to minimize your settings every time you play. GM ImperviumHomecoming FAQ; Need a hand? Tried it, all it does now is give me 480p screen that is blacked out with sound also.

Captain Fabulous Posted July 19 Posted July 19 If you're using an AMD graphics card the latest driver, 24.6.1, breaks OpenGL. Roll back to 24.5.1
Captain Fabulous Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Looks like the just-released 24.7.1 driver fixes the OpenGL issue. 1
