Labyrinth of Fog, annoying thing

There is an object in the Labyrinth that I saw very briefly for the first time yesterday. I didn't have time to use the Power Analyzer on it before it was gone. Searches of this forum, CoH Discord, Wiki, CoD yielded nothing - not a scrap of information! Tried the link_info slash command and got bupkis. I've also been unable to locate the object again since I saw it (briefly) yesterday, and I've been trying for hours today. This puzzle is teasing and tantalizing!

 

Do you know what the annoying thing is?

There is a Malevolent Fog that isn't named Malevolent Fog; it's named Annoying Thing that Gives Buffs.

I am extremely amused by that. Kudos to whichever dev gave it that name.

 

This is up there with the dedication plaque for Señor Omnomnom in my top ten most amusing things found ingame.

I believe it was a little joke one added to the Labyrinth when Cobalt was looking at what to name the fogs (Someone suggested the long name), as they were called "Volatile Aether" before and didn't look half as cool. Still does the exact same thing but is a nice little joke to see when it does spawn in on the rare occasion 😄
