Can anyone look at my Fire/Rad build? I'm a little off from softcapped range defense and perma hasten and AM. The universal damage enhancements and the ATO's will be rough to get. Otherwise it seems do-able. If anyone can make this work without the universal damage set and corruptor ATO, I would appreciate that.

You can 6 slot Radiant Aura with numina's for ranged def you can take a slot from maneuvers and change that to LotG to make up for the rech loss from Doctored Wounds. which soft caps you and allows you to change Rain of fire to Posi's blast. Removing the ATO would require a lot more adjustments/sacrifices.

 

This comes close... 44.9% range def, Perma AM Hasten misses it by 2 secs and It still uses expensive IO's but the ATO is also gone.

Going to assume that your primary reason for 5-slotting RA with Doctored Wounds is for the 5% Rech.

 

If so, look at 5 Slot Panacea for 7.5% Rech.

Or, if you can squirrel away another slot from someplace, 6-slot Preventative Medicine for +8.75%.

 

 

Also, if you take Fighting, take KICK instead of Boxing.  With Kick, you can put in a Force Feedback +Rech proc.

Won't be VERY useful, but more useful than an unslotted Boxing.

 

Also, something is borked.  You have FIVE Ancillary Pools (how else would you get Combat Jumping)?

So your build is invalid.

 

I'd also question your failure to use Choking Cloud and your underslotting of Health.

If you want to be godlike, pick anything.

If you want to be GOD, pick a TANK!

I don't know how I have five pool powers. That will change things. I'll take another shot at this when I get home.

 

Good suggestion on Preventative Medicine.

 

I don't use Choking Cloud. It seems like a huge end drain for very little benefit. I prefer to stay out of melee too. If you have a suggestion for using Choking Cloud, I'd like to hear it.

Updated build. I no longer have FIVE pool powers. ~40% ranged defense with perma AM and nearly perma Hasten with 50% S/L resist to boot.  No purples or ATO. If I want to add an ATO, universal damage, or winter set at some point, I think I can cap ranged defense.

 

I'll take any suggestions though. It seems like most people try to cap S/L defense, rather than range. Ranged seems do-able without locking me into the Mace Mastery APP for Scorpion Shield.
