ceto555 Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Hi, I was just wondering whether it's better on Controller or a Dominator? This is mostly for solo leveling door missions to 50. Thanks!

Doms mostly only want to leverage their controls to open a fight and then prefer to use their assault powers. Not saying you can't play gravity on a dom, but it typically works better on a controller. Global: @Valnara1; Discord Handle: @Valnara#0620 I primarily play on Everlasting, but you may occasionally find me on Indom. 🙂 Notable Characters: Apocolyptica - Demons/Storm MM; Lurking Monster - Human-Form WS; Environmentabot - Bots/Nature MM; Miss Fade - Ill/Traps Controller; Sister Apocalypse - Beast/Dark MM; Dr. Elaina Wrath - Plant/Rad Controller (Join the House of Wrath, and spread the word of science!); Ruff Ruff Boom - AR/Devices Blaster
JJDrakken Posted November 28 Posted November 28 It's the more Offensive control sets. Thus a Controllers Containment will be better suited for it. Dominator is already attack heavy, do to it's secondary being attack. BUT You can supplement your attack chain with Grav Attacks, especially if your making a more ranged focus Dominator.
Riverdusk Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Gravity/psi dom wouldn't be a bad choice as psi assault's single target blasts aren't great. You could swap out mental blast and subdue for the gravity 'blasts' (lift and propel) instead, which are actually better dpa. Pick up the snipe, the aoe attacks, and some of the melee from psi assault. You of course also end up with the great drain psyche as well.
