We need another global channel, Player Events

This is for costume contests and server leagues/raids

I just realized my global ignore list is filled with normal people who are annoying for ads

I remember watching LFG/General/Pocket D Broadcast when every 20 minutes, there'd be the same copy pasted post.

 

That? Was obnoxious.

 

Things being limited to once an hour for people who've freshly logged on felt like a much sweeter spot.

 

That said, I dunno if there's any way to make the perfect LFG channel for everyone? The Everlasting TFs channel for instance explicitly states no DFB. Spam for the one trial can get really annoying to some people, but I know other people really like it!

 

My big question that comes to mind is: if we remove costume contests, club nights, MSRs, Hamidons, and the Labrynth from LFG...

 

...doesn't that just make lfg incomplete?

I'm not saying the idea has no merit, it just feels like something the community has effectively already solved with chat channels 🙂

idk if it'd be possible, but add a player created event, to the event messages, or to to the event messages itself, otherwise it'd take creating a custom chat channel to post those kinds of messsages. though the labyrinth one should still be an LFG channel msg. since it takes groups to do that after all
