I'm deep into in the process of rebuilding a base.  I have the largest plot, and most of my work is in the Huge Room.  That leaves me with a long strip 3 squares deep, sufficient for the 2x2 Entrance Room with a door.  I actually had 2 smaller rooms on that strip as well.  When I realized the Entrance Room was not where I'd ultimately want it to be, I tried shuffling the three smaller rooms around to find the best fit.  All moved fine, until, after multiple moves, the Entrance Room froze in an unwanted position.  Nothing I've tried since has gotten it to move, though it keeps displaying the move button as if the option were available.

I did key word searching in this forum and asked in the base builder chat, but have yet to discover the answer.  One of those who chatted with me asked if I'd had items in the entrance room.  I had 3: two standalones not touching the walls, and one wall banner.  These moved fine each attempt before the freeze.  I have removed all 3 from the room without any changes.  I should also note that I'd moved the secret entrance portal days ago to the main room. Other efforts made to shake the entrance room loose include deleting the other two small rooms, exiting base build mode, exiting the base, changing characters and back, and exiting the game altogether.  So far no attempts I've tried have gotten the entrance room to budge.

Can anyone guide me to a solution to this?

I have not experience this myself, but I have never tried to juggle multiple rooms multiple times.

I'm assuming that you already backed out of the base editor and tried to go back in - and - gone out of the base editor, gone to the character login screen, logged back in, and tried going into the base editor again.

I would also try logging out completely, check for updates, and validate just to make sure anything behind-the-scenes didn't have something to do with it.

If none of that work and if possible , I would delete one of the smaller rooms, move the other rooms away from where you want the entrance room to be, try moving the entrance room, move the other rooms where you want them to be then recreate that room you had to delete.

If it will won't link up, see if there is an issue with where the connecting door is trying to link to the next room and make sure that there are no items blocking the connection (I'm assuming that they shouldn't but it could be possible.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

Thanks for responding.  I've tried all of that.  EDIT:  I just wiped out a longer answer because I found the answer to the problem, and it's weird.

The problem was there actually was a 4th object in the room, embedded in one of the walls, and despite my dropping doors in all over to search for a possible embedded piece it did not show up.  It was not until I removed all doors from the entrance room  AND rotated the view to a very specific direction that I spotted the piece, a Supergroup Glass Logo 1.  Trying to view it from any other angle didn't show it.  Returning to the specific view, I was able to remove the item, and the entrance room then moved freely.  Weird, but at least I'm back in action.

A little late and a rare need, but there's also the "current room" button which lists everything in the room and you can select them from that window.
