Looking for RP Contacts/Friends/Partner

After some bad experiences last year, I took a long break from CoH to try and get away from those experiences and have some time to recover. Now I'm feeling better enough that I want to try and get back into things. The problem is, I don't really have anyone on my friends list that's both still active in-game and able to help me out.

 

I've decided to start small: I'm going to curb my alt addiction (or try to) and focus on one character, since I have a lot of other stuff going on as well outside CoH. The character I've decided to focus on is "Hellcatte", aka Eve Zharim. I am not really looking for a group, since I am socially awkward and don't do well with many people at once, and also because Eve is holding her own personal SG just for the base (her house). I am looking for anyone who might like to be friends with her, and ideally a romantic partner for her as well.

 

Here is some basic info -

About Eve:

• Rogue alignment. She commits crimes for money, especially robberies for either direct cash or valuables to sell.
• Adult in her late 20s. Any character under 21 is too young and not welcome, sorry.
• High maximum power level. Her powers rely on a particular fuel, so she can be slightly weaker than an average civilian when deprived of the source long enough, and stand toe to toe with incarnates when juiced up. If you dislike strong characters, turn back and have a nice day 🙂
• Sassy personality. Eve's got a fair amount of sass to her, often making cheeky teasing comments.
• Heterosexual. Only interested sexually/romantically in men, but happy to talk casually with nearly anyone.
• Holds Grudges. Don't piss her off. One of her ex-partners was caught cheating on her and got thrown into a building.

 

About me (OOC):

• Everlasting Shard/Server. My characters are all based here, including Hellcatte.
• Reactive RP style. I'm usually not very good at coming up with plots or setting a scene, I struggle to take the lead in roleplay and I am way better at responding than initiating. If you have similar issues, we are going to have a bad time.
• Eastern Daylight Time. I have no trouble working with other timezones, but I am mostly around during the afternoon/early evening (like 11 am to 9 pm). This isn't set in stone or anything and I can probably be available later sometimes, but right now this is mostly accurate, barring other commitments. Any timezones that are 7 hours or more apart from me may be tough to schedule with, keep that in mind.
• No Dark Themes! I'm not a fan of them, not looking to get into anything depressing or super crazy villainous or deal with people who love making their characters suffer.
• Romance RP. This is mainly what I'm looking for, it's my preference and the type of RP I most enjoy. Just keep in mind what should be in-character and not out of character please ♥
• Adults Only. Should be obvious but I'll put it here anyway. I'm looking for romance RP with her so, to be blunt, ERP is a part of that. Stuff can of course happen off-screen if we're short on time or setting up a new scene etc etc, but it will still happen.

I don't post on the forums a lot so I tried to avoid saying anything inappropriate, which is why I don't name Eve's power source here.

 

I will update once I'm good on RP friends or my post will sit here for ages and decay, we'll see what happens!

Just bumping to say I'm still looking, since it's been a full week. Please feel free to message me or even reply here, whether you want to RP or you're just curious about something, I don't mind.

Kudos to you for being brave enough to put yourself out there again and look for RP buddies after having a bad experience. 

 

Unfortunately these forums aren't really a great place for doing that. Not that people here are malicious or anything, it's just sort of not a common occurrence. 

 

You might have better luck via Discord or in-game participating in character at various social RP bases (ie clubs, parties, etc). Even if you're shy setting something up in-game, you're more likely to be visible to the kind of writing buddies you're interested in playing with than here.
